Interceptor for Dogs

Interceptor for dogs is well known for preventing heartworm diseases, adult hookworm and whipworm diseases. For cats it is the only oral preventative drug that guards against roundworms, heartworms and hookworms. It works by eliminating the heartworm larvae right at the tissue stage. And for hookworms and roundworms they are checked and eliminated at the adult stage. The drug interferes with invertebrates’ neuron-transmission as the parasitic worms are destroyed (anthelminitic activity) by the active constituent milbemycin oxime.

This drug requires veterinarian’s prescription. It is safe for cats over 6 weeks and weighs 1.5 pounds and dogs of 4 weeks of age and weighs 2 pounds.
