Goodwinol Ointment & Shampoo
Goodwinol ointment is widely used for treating the localized follicular and demodectic mange in
dogs. The ointment is not to be used on cats. However, EPA allows its
shampoo form may be used for the treatment of mites on dogs as well as cats. The ointment is well known for treating and preventing pets from the external parasites.
However,
goodwinol ointment it should not be used on animals allergic to it. It can safely be used on pregnant dogs. But puppies and kittens should not be treated with this ointment. Though, it must not be given with other topical treatments and pesticides.
