Deramaxx is used exclusively for dogs. It is well known for treating inflammation and pain. Also, deramaxx for dogs is used for treating degenerative diseases like osteoarthritis which affect the joints of dogs. It is available in beef-flavor and is chewable and veterinarian’s prescription is a must. It belongs to the class of COX-2 inhibitor medications. It blocks COX-2 enzymes and not COX-1 enzymes, as they are essential for body’s normal functioning, whereas COX-2 enzymes lead to arthritic joint pains and triggers inflammation. Deramaxx is avaliable in different doses such as 25mg, 75mg and 100mg.
